Casey

Casey

Casey has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for over 6 years. She graduated from Baker College in Cadillac in 2015. She loves working with clients and pet, as well as promoting good relationships and providing excellent care. In her spare time, Casey loves to be outdoors and spending quality time with her husband Nate. At home, she has three cats (Socks, Marlow, and J-Quellen), one dog (Chinook), and two chickens (Brown Chicken and Little Black Chicken). Her passion is driven by the fact that she is able to help all different types of animals to get the care they need!

Laura

Laura

Laura

Laura has been a veterinary assistant with Grand Traverse Veterinary Hospital for 8 years and counting. Already earning her certificate as a veterinary assistant from Animal Behavior College, she's currently pursuing her degree to become a licensed veterinary technician. What motivates Laura is being able to help provide care to those that can’t speak for themselves. As a veterinary technician, Laura's inspiration is to be the best version of herself and to do what she loves, caring for and helping animals to live a long and healthy life. Laura’s favorite parts of working with GTVH are the wonderful staff that she is surrounded by, the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and owners, and the ability to bring so much joy to individual people through the care of their pets. As another piece of inspiration, she always thinks: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams'', ~Eleanor Roosevelt. When she’s not at work you can find her hiking, searching for waterfalls, kayaking, and spending quality time with her husband, family, and being a feather-mom to her 28-year-old Amazon Parrot, named Katie and fur mom to her puppy Arya, as well as enjoying the beauty that the Traverse City area has to offer, especially during the Fall.

Casey

Casey

Casey

Casey has been a veterinary assistant for 4 years now.  With a background of working with cattle as a dairy milker and, currently, as an assistant in small animal medicine, she plans to pursue her certification in wildlife rehabilitation in hopes to broaden her love for animals and nature. “Not only are our companions important, but animals that make our surrounding environments are. Too, ”she says. After being in this field for four years, Casey says the most favorite part of her job is working with and learning about all the exotic animals that come in. Her most rewarding part of her job is when “I can inform the clients as much as possible in a way that will be impressionable,” she says. In her free time you can find Casey hiking and enjoying the outdoors with her dog named Bruno, hammocking with her cat named Russ, or curled up with a good movie and her pet snake named Morse.

There, he earned an A.S. from the Veterinary Technician Program in 2021. After graduating from tech school, Marshall moved back home with his longtime partner and now wife, Sienna. Being relatively new to the veterinary field, Marshall sees each day at the hospital as an opportunity for a unique learning experience and finds motivation in being able to help improve the lives of both our patients and their human companions. During his time away from work, Marshall enjoys the company of Sienna, their cats Pete and Beans, and their dog Sully. You can also find him out hiking local trails, running, snowboarding, and playing soccer whenever he gets the chance.
